GP paper today was okay....

I should be able to pass for the essay, I think.

Comprehension paper was on suicide.

Haha. I wanted to laugh till I cried; John and I had a huge debate about suicide last Friday- turns out that it was of use!! :D

I think I did pretty okay for AQ...I had a lot to say about suicide, thanks to our debate. :D

The weirdest thing was when the auditorium lights went out! Yeah, blackout... the weird thing is that it sort of crossed my mind when I entered the hall this morning..."What if all the lights went out?"

Freaky, but cool.

We got 5 mins extra time thanks to the blackout! :D

That meant that I had just enough time to finish my AQ; I squinted when the lights were out and finished the vocab section by the light coming through the windows. :D

All in all, quite a good paper, I think. :D

Wai Lun was sitting two rows away from me; could see him throughout the whole paper. He seemed kinda lost during the essay! Poor thing..... :P

Okay, have Lit tomorrow.

Gonna read my notes to sleep tonight.

Tomorrow morning before e paper, I'm gonna read e poems that I spotted for Sylvia Plath... planning on doing e context for Plath and API.

Context or essay for A&C, I'm open for both; A&C is probably the one text that I'm most confident about! :P

Okay, dinner now. After that, more study.

Man, it's really coming outta my ears. :P

It's late.

School reopens tommorw.

And there's a GP exam tomorrow.

Crap, I've never been so worried about GP before.

Been studying like nuts for the past three weeks of holiday; I've never studied so much before in my life, not even for the O levels two years back. O.o

Have five papers next week, one on each day of the week.

Pam's last paper is on Thursday, so she gets Friday as a holiday.

Unfair.

John and Wei Jian end on Wednesday. Two days of holiday.

Even more unfair.

Tired....

I'll probably be asking Mr Low for more consultation time sometime this week before the Geog paper; Friday's consultation answered a lot of questions but I left knowing that there's still so much more that I need to study!!!!

All right, I'm going to sleep.

Friday, June 27, 2003

Consultation for Geog today.

A bit of a disaster, coz I woke up this morning, switched on my phone and found out that Edison had messaged me at 1 in the morning to say that he wasn't coming for consultation coz he hadn't started studying Geog yet and so had nothing to ask!!

I freaked and called Pam up and asked her to come with me, coz I haven't really studied physical geog yet! Only human geog! So I didn't really have questions..... :P

Anyway, Pam, being the wonderful person that she is, came to school even though I called her about an hour before my consultation slot....

I love Pam!! :D

As a friend.

Haha. :P

Singapore, tropical climate, June, middle of the year, bloody hot....

All these things mean that we need air-conditioning, right?

NO!!

The air-conditioning at the KFC at AMK Central is absolutely, horribly freezing!!!

Yeah, I studied there. With John and Wei Jian.

Was supposed to study Econs, but got sidetracked by the two guys doing Maths, haha.

Well, at least I got in about 2 hours of Econs. :P

6.5 hours of Maths....from Probability to Permutations and Combinations (Perm and Com absolutely sucks), to DRV.....

There was one good point about today, tho.

I found out that I can use the Maths C TYS for AO Maths. Except that about half of it would be irrelevant for me. :P

Freezing cold place...my teeth were chattering. I was actually shivering!

Stupid air-conditioning.

Never thought that I'd hate air-conditioning.

John said that he was freezing too. Yeah right, John; would anyone in their right mind who was freezing buy himself an ice cream?? :P

Then again, maybe John isn't in the right mind. Haha.

Wei Jian had a jacket.

Yeah, all very well for him.....he was the only one who knew the place well enough to know that it was freezing. Oh, but his fingers were still freezing. So that equals it out for all of us, haha.

(Why am I using the word "freezing" so much?? Crap, don't tell me my vocabulary's shrunk.....)

Hm....so far, he's the only person that I know of who shares my sentiments that jackets do not keep your fingers warm. Which is a bad thing when you want to study.

*Bashes head on wall*

Stupid, why didn't I bring a jacket???

Oh well. Good thing I decided to wear long pants, lol.

My fingers are still kinda cold even now. I don't believe this.... O.o

Oh well....have consultation with Mr Low tomorrow. And y'know what?

I haven't thought of anything to ask him yet.

Crap.

Defeats the whole stupid purpose of consultation.

Ah well.....hopefully Edison will have enough questions for both of us.... :P

SIx hours of study in the library today. Six hours of Geog.

Brain...dead.

o_o.....................

(Thus ends my shortest ever post. Ha.)

Too much of Matthew Broderick this weekend. Really too much.

Watched "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" yesterday. It had Matthew Broderick in it.

Today's "Inspector Gadget" had Matthew Broderick in it too.

Conclusion: Matthew Broderick is such a cute little thing!

I should add Matthew Broderick to my list of little cute boys, but I'm too lazy right now. Haha.

Lemme see if I can find a picture of Matthew Broderick somewhere.....

'Kay, there you go. :D

Isn't he such a sweet little thing? :P

Read John's blog the other day; am very happy that he likes the cow mug. :D

Oh yeah, I've finished reading "The Virgin Suicides"! Whoopee....

Now I've got to start reading my Lit texts. Which I've been ignoring, in favour of reading "Virgin Suicides"...:S

I knew I shouldn't have borrowed that book. Damn, I distract myself from studying! Stupid girl...

Let's see....last week of hols is gonna be pretty busy.

Cramming in all the stuff that I might've missed in the last two weeks...need to take my sis for tuition on Wednesday...studying Econs with John on Thursday...consultation with Mr Low on Friday.

Yeah, that about sums it up. :P

Hm...it was Sylvia Fong's bday yesterday..and Prince William's bday.

It's not fair; everyone gets to share their birthday with someone famous, but no....no one famous is ever born on the 22nd of July.

Well, then again, when (and if) I become famous, I'll be the only famous person to be born on July 22nd! Haha.. :D

And the fifth Harry Potter book came out yesterday too.

I'm trying to be patient here; don't wanna rush out and buy it coz it's damn expensive now: over 30 bucks!! O_O

Well, okay, I just hope that Draco Malfoy doesn't die....

I have a very interesting theory about the exact role that Draco Malfoy's supposed to play in the books, actually. Anyone wanna hear it? :D

Well, if you don't want to, you can scram. Ha. :P

Okay, look at it this way: What if Harry was a sort of decoy? You know, with Voldemort paying so much attention to him, he wouldn't take notice of let's say, the real person who was destined to bring about his downfall all along.

And hey, it might be Draco. I mean, the most strategic place to be is behind enemy lines. Voldemort would never see one of his own coming after him, especially not one of the Malfoys.

Secondly, look at the Hogwarts school motto: when the Latin is translated into English, you get "Never Tickle A Sleeping Dragon"; in other words, don't wake a sleeping dragon.

"Draco" in Latin has two meanings: Dragon, or Serpent.

If the "sleeping dragon" is say....Draco? Once the dragon is woken, that might bring about a lot of change.... e.g: the fall of the Dark Side? :)

And taking the second meaning of Draco's name into consideration, if he really is the real one who's destined to fell Voldemort, then wouldn't that make him a traitor on the Dark Side? A "snake in the grass", so to speak? (Snake=Serpent?) :D

I've started a story on this, but it keeps running into blocks....One of these days, I'm gonna sit down, destress, and let it all out. :D

Okay, I'm sleepy now.

One last note: I changed the graphics on my website a few days ago! Go have a look; I especially love my new banner!

Right, goodnight now. :)

GP lesson was quite okay today.....maybe I only think so coz I had the highest in class for that last mock test we had.

57%....that's a B4.

Given Ms Fernandez's strict marking....Geez, I almost fell off my chair.

Studied with Edison today; hey, he can be my new study buddy for Geog! :D

Edison brought me to this nice place for lunch, coz we were both absolutely hungry after the GP lesson and we didn't really have the mood to study. Yet. :P

Anyway, the stall that we patronised, the plates were really huge; $5.50 for a huge serving like that and a bowl of wonderfully creamy mushroom soup was definitely worth it. :D

Thanks to him, I'll be staying away from fast food for a while....Anytime I go to Toa Payoh for lunch, I'll be going there now! Haha. :D

Going back to that place for com service again tomorrow.... Fun.

And it's John's birthday tomorrow! And guess what? I remembered to get a present for him! Yay!

Hope he likes it. :P

Wai Lun says that he might be coming tomorrow; the more the merrier, haha.

Okay. Nothing else to type now, so I shall just go back to my studying and to looking forward to tomorrow. :D

Wednesday, June 18, 2003

Had com service today; it was quite fun, actually!

Probably because it was a break from studying??

You know all those earphones that airlines give the passengers on long flights? Guess what?

Those earphones get recycled after they're used; they just remove the foam covering on the earphones and repackage them back into the little plastic bags. The only thing about them that changes is the little foam parts.

That's kinda gross and interesting all at the same time.

To quote Matthew: "You'll never look at airline earphones the same way again."

I definitely won't. :D

Anyway, I'm talking about this coz at that place for the intellectually disabled today, we were untangling a whole lot of those earphones; there were at least 50 of them with their wires all completely tangled and we had to entangle them and repackage them.

Surprisingly, they get paid for doing this, I think.

There were two piles; Wan Juan and I finished the first and then the second was even more tangled than the first, so she and Pam worked on that one for a while, then gave up.

Haha....then Wei Jian and I took the pile and managed to worm two pairs or earphones out of that huge clump! Haha...we were so proud... :P

Pam was wondering how the hell we did it; Wei Jian said it was patience, and he seemed to think that as trainees, we had more of it. Haha. The link between us being trainees and having patience is a kinda abstract one, but, oh well. I quote Wei Jian: "Trainee power." :P

Went out for lunch with John, Pam, Wai Lun and Wei Jian... Was fun. :D

Wai Lun has a most deceiving handphone accessory: it's this little blue bell attached to it, and attached to that blue bell is a little plastic case. Inside that plastic case is a small sign that says "F*** you". Haha.

Wai Lun says that the purpose of the bell is to deceive you and make you go, "Oh, how cute," and then you pick it up for a closer look and what you get is the little plastic case with its crude little message. Haha. :D

Everyone's changing their phones...or phone accessories.

Wai Lun's got that little thing, John's changed his phone cover (his present one's *very* nice), Pam's got her new 7250 (with loudspeakers for the radio function, haha)....and I'm still stuck with my ancient phone. Crap.

Oh, wait....Wei Jian hasn't changed his phone! Ha, there's hope for me...

But his phone's nice; no reason why anyone in their right mind would wanna get that perfectly nice blue phone changed. Oh, but he removed that little coffin-shaped thing that he had hanging off it last year.

Yeah, on the way back to that centre after lunch, we met this old man who claimed that he'd just come out of jail or something and had no money and he was pleading with us to give him some cash; the guys each gave him $2! I had no money, and Pam just stood by; she didn't buy the old guy's story, and I didn't really, either.

It was kinda weird. Anyway, after the guys gave him their money, Wai Lun complained about how he was broke and Wei Jian said that he didn't have anymore notes left...haha. Which reminds me that I owe Pam $5.50 for today's lunch and the two drinks. :P

I've just realised that I keep writing these three guys into my blog thingy... haha.

I dunno; I realised some time last year that I'm the strange type of girl that fits in better with guys than girls, but yet, at the same time, I can't be with those guy friends very much coz:

1. Their friends will think it's strange

2. It feels weird to be the only girl when their other friends (all guys) are around

3. Their other guy friends might also feel quite uncomfortable if there was a girl around (after all, there is the kinda stuff that both girls and guys only talk about among themselves.)

Well...10 years in a girls' school and now I finally find out why I've always felt like a freak: this lil' girl here couldn't associate well with girls! What a loser I am.

I read somewhere once that love (as in romantic love) always spoils or complicates friendships, and I think I agree.

So I guess I'm one of the most lucky people in the world to have John and Wai Lun, whom I do consider quite good friends, though not as much as Pam! I've known Pam for nine years, after all!! :D Not very close with Wei Jian coz he's kinda quiet and I don't think we have that much to talk about, but he is still a nice person! :)

I'm a lucky girl to have two guys as friends without love getting in the way!! :D

Man, that makes me feel so happy. :D

Have a GP lesson tomorrow. Hope it's relatively short, as frankly, Ms Fernandez scares me.

Gonna study in the library both before and after the lesson; my Geog needs a lot of work.

Going back to that centre for the intellectually disabled on Friday; quite looking forward to it, actually, since today was quite fun!

Late....gonna go to sleep. Nitez......... :) :) :)

Tuesday, June 17, 2003

Woohoo! I'm back!

Haven't written for days; haven't had the time.

Studied Lit the whole of last week; I swear, if people could see words, I'd probably be walking around with Shakespeare and bits of Sylvia Plath's poetry bleeding out out of my ears. :p

Dawn was reading "The Virgin Suicides" on Wednesday before band; I took an interest in it, so against my better judgment, have borrowed it from the library and am now reading it.

It is joyfully and comically morbid. Hehe. :P

I got my Lit essays back on...I think it was Wednesday. Or Thursday. Hm. Not sure. :P

For the Antony and Cleopatra one, I had 33/50. Ha. Quite worth it for 4 hours of work in the early morning! Me is pleased. :D

For the critical analysis on Sylvia Plath's "Lady Lazarus", I had 30/50. Sigh. I worked on it for two weeks, but, oh well. There were some parts of that essay that I wasn't too happy with, but I wasn't sure how to improve it, so I just handed it up.

60% and 66%. Bs again.

I always get Bs for Literature. And they're always that close to being and A grade.

Damn. I see what Matthew Yeo meant now; it is damn frustrating.

Oh well.

Must study Geog this week.

And I have comm service with band tomorrow. Going to a school for intellectually disabled children.

Well, that's that....shall be off now. :D

Thursday, June 12, 2003

I'm so proud!!

I spent 4 straight hours studying in the library today! Wow...all by myself too. Haha.

Of course, the result of that is that I've come home kinda braindead.... :P But that's expected, I guess. :D

So, yeah, I'm kinda braindead, which explains why I have so little to type. :P

Looks like the holidays are gonna be pretty boring...

Unless maybe I can convince someone to study with me. Study group might be more fun.

More fun than holing up alone in a small corner of the library and studying all by myself for four hours on end....now I make myself sound like a pathetic loner. Oh well. :P
Ah well.... I sent Airine a message early this morning, wishing her happy bday (I even sent a cute picture with it :D).

She replied with "Thanx!"

:D

Oh well....one birthday down and....a lot more to go.

John's is coming up on 20th and Sylvia's on 21st....Sandy's and Soon Aik's will be in July with me....

Then I can take a long break coz Wai Lun's and Wei Jian's and Pam's are in Nov and Dec! Haha.

But it won't be any fun giving them presents then.....coz the bloody A levels are in November.

I'm so happy I wasn't born in November...I'd always be having exams around my birthday, otherwise!

No, that wasn't meant to offend any November babies!!

Hm...yesterday, Dawn asked me if I liked John. Apparently, she said that she came to that conclusion coz we were studying together.

Ah, well, answer's no, and I told her anyway. :D

After all, John likes someone else, and so do I! :D

I'm hungry.

But I'm gonna stay in the library for a while to finish revising my Plath for Lit.

Yay; I'm actually going to be productive today! :D

Wednesday, June 11, 2003

Am back in school for a Literature lecture and a Geography lecture.

And I was in school yesterday for a Literature lecture too. After which I stayed back in the library to do self-study...

Man, holidays never feel like holidays in Singapore.

Ah!!! I've just realised that I forgot to get Airine a present!!

Damn it....damn it...damn it *bashes head on keyboard*

I'm on FF.net right now; in the X-Men section. Haha.

Oh, I forgot; look what I managed to get yesterday:

Pyro

Which X2 Mutant are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Nice? :D

Man, the X-Men section needs more Pyro fics.....

Preferably ones that aren't romance..... :P

Ah, well. Too bored to type anything of interest now, I think. So, bye. :D

What the hell?!? The bloody Chinese exam sucked!

And no, it's not because I didn't study; there isn't any stupid syllabus to study for Chinese, anyway!

And all those teachers told us that the mid-year paper would be easier than the March paper... Load of crap.

Crap, who cares.....as long as I get a C5 or better. If I get a C6 again I'll whack my head against the wall coz I just wasted about 30 bucks taking that damn exam for the second time for bloody nothing!!

Damn... Life sucks.

Shall go watch the Matrix Reloaded again today; I need to understand what the Architect told Neo....I think that's the reason why I didn't understand the ending; coz I wasn't paying attention when the scene where Neo and the Architect were talking.

Was rewatching X-Men 2 the other day too.... you know the part where Mystique's on Lady Deathstrike's computer and she brings up a whole list of names and clicks on "Lehnsherr, Eric" (or something like that)?

I spotted a whole lot of other names that I recognise and I think that they'll probably appear in X3; whoopee. :D This calls for another list. :D

Gerri's list of mutants whom she thinks should be appearing in X3:

(Okay, so that was a long title, but who cares.....)

1. Beast
Coz Hank McCoy was on that news broadcast in the bar scene, and well, Hank McCoy is Beast. There's your explanation.

2. Gambit
Well, probably. His name was on that list on the computer. "LeBeau, Remy". Yep. That's it.

3. The Maximoff Twins
Again, probably, but if they do show up in X3 I'll be absolutely happy!! Yes, I'm a Quicksilver fan, I think that Pietro Maximoff (and John Allerdyce :D) is the best thing ever in the X-Men universe. Haha. This was on that computer list too: further down...kinda near the bottom of the screen: "Maximoff (2)".

I think that's it. Pyro should be making a comeback!

Man, just imagine....Quicksilver and Pyro on the same screen. Way cool.

Even better if they were on the same screen at the same time. :D

Ah well....have extra lectures tomorow and there's band on Wednesday (Yay!). Must go get a little something for Airine coz her bday's on Thursday!

Sunday, June 08, 2003

I'm bored.

There's the Chinese exam tomorrow, but I've never bothered to study for Chinese anyway....

Watched Matrix Reloaded today. Once again, I'm absolutely delighted that I'm able to understand it. :D

I understand the whole concept of the Agent Smith guy being able to replicate himself. It's something like this; he said that Neo had robbed him of his purpose, right?

And since the Matrix is a machine, everything in it would just be programs; software inside the hardware.

Without a purpose, "Agent Smith" becomes an incomplete program; a rogue program, a computer worm.

So said rogue program goes around corrupting functioning programs.

Put that into visual terms and you get an Agent Smith that simply appears to duplicate himself.

Ending was kinda confusing tho.

I do see the whole twist about how Neo isn't really what they believed him to be; he isn't supposed to bring about the end; he's only a means to an end. But about him bringing down those machines (I think they're called Sentinels? The squid-like ones with lotsa tentacles) near the end....

Does it mean that each new "One" that was created with each new Matrix was meant to be a kinda link between humans and machines? Physically human and capable of human emotion and at the same time, able to understand and connect with machines?

Interesting.

When viewed in that light, Neo becomes more like a cyborg.

Human (flesh and blood) + Machine (metal, plastic, all form of non-biological material) = ??? (Something with emotion but which doesn't completely understand it?)

I love the Matrix movies. Such enjoyable food for thought.

God bless the great men who created it; I know they're two brothers, but their names aren't coming to mind right now. Haha.

Have to go look for Sylvia Fong's present some time soon. Must get something for Airine and John too.

Too many people's birthdays in June!:P

Friday, June 06, 2003

Well, didn't come back for night study last night coz couldn't find anyone who wanted to come back.

Stayed home instead; watched "Agent Cody Banks", it really was pretty funny. :D

No RWS today, so I'm gonna go home and watch "Matrix Reloaded" and then get some study done.

Maybe after about 2 hours of study, I'll think about what to make for my fellow trainees for band investiture...yeah, I've already started on something; that's how far ahead I've thought about it!

Don't have much to type. Maybe I'll be back after school.

Woohoo.....last day of school today!!!!!

Thursday, June 05, 2003

Bored.

Geog extra class has been cancelled today so I can go home at 3.50 and have two hours to think about whether or not I want to come back for night study.

Could ask John if he wants to study with me. In effect, that means he'll be teaching me as well.....

Let's see:

I could ask Matthew Yeo if he wants to study Lit with me. But Lit isn't a subject made for group study, and besides, he'd probably come for night study with Zuo Zhuo. I don't wanna be a lamp post.

I could ask John to study with me (teach me) Econs, but I don't feel like studying Econs since that test is over.

Could ask John to teach me Maths... Nah. Don't feel like Maths today.

Pam?

No, Pam doesn't come back for night study.

Could ask.....

Edison.

Yeah, that's it. :)

Ask Edison if he wants to study Geog or something tonight.

Okay....will do so later.

My life seems to have gone back into limbo. Again.

Or maybe that's just because it's early in the morning, so in effect, I'm kinda braindead.

I could stick a sign on my head that says: "No brain till 11.00 AM".

I'll probably come back later in the day....after school...I might have something interesting to say (write/type) then.

Tuesday, June 03, 2003

Tuesday. By right, there's double period PE at the end of today, but since I'm from the A girls group, I finished my NAPFA three weeks ago and have been doing nothing but slacking during double periods for the past three weeks!! Haha.

Actually, we're supposed to play games during the double period but heck, we just don't care...

I still think that a MUCH better alternative to playing games would be to let us go home early!!

And that's gonna happen today. :D

No PE, and I have a free period before the PE double period, which means that I get to go home three periods early! Leaving school at 3.10 instead of 5.10! Woohoo!

Got Pam her new bag, new slippers and new waterbottle yesterday. Man, it was like a shopping spree!

We spent about half an hour in the Quiksilver shop debating on whether or not she should get that bag that she liked, coz when she saw it yesterday, she just realised that when she carried it, it was pretty high up on her back... Pam has a theory that only Science students carry their bags that high. *cough*Wai Lun*cough*

She didn't want to look Science-y, so I kept telling her that it didn't look that bad, which really, it didn't.

And in the end, guess what?

We flipped a coin to decided whether or not she should buy it, and she did. :P I think the people in the store probably thought that we
were spastic. :P

Chinese last night actually wasn't so bad....coz I sat near the back of the LT and was talking to Sandy and Karen and everyone around me the whole time. Haha. Wasn't listening to the boring Chinese teacher at all.

Sandy actually thought that I was a very sociable person coz I was talking to everyone around me!

Ah well....I'm usually antisocial, so I thought that comment was rather strange.

I repeat: I thought the comment was strange. Not Sandy.

Have to stop my inclination towards badmouthing people. I still think "badmouthing" is a bit extreme...I don't really badmouth people, I just make negative comments about them!

Well, they're not really all that negative....more in a joking kinda way.

I'm starting to not make sense, so let's move onto another topic.

I got 57% for my recent Chinese mock test! That's a B4! Yay!

And I passed last week's Econs DRQ. Another yay.

Yesterday's Econs MCQ test was okay too....and right now, I have way too much stuff to do this week.

Lit essay is due tomorrow...actually, that's an extension; it was actually due today. :s

Geog essay for extra class is due on Thursday too....help! Still haven't discussed with Amos what we're gonna write for the damn thing! Haven't even done the presentation thing yet! Damn!! I'm in deep shit!

And that Lit thing we're supposed to do for Sylvia Plath....I have an analysis to do on "images of colour and landscape" to do on 13 poems.

Shit.

Crap.

Somebody save me!! I'm drowning in homework!

Chinese class again tonight. Suddenly it doesn't seem that bad....I get to talk to all those people that I know and get to know them
better! How fun. :D

Ah well. Don't have anything else to type.

Bye. Going to have a look at Pam's blog now. Maybe she's written something egg-citing about yesterday's "shopping spree". Maybe she's even written something about me, since I was with her! Haha.....

Monday, June 02, 2003

Have just come from a GP tutorial. Single period. Thank whatever gods are listening.

Miss Fernandez is damn pissed at my class.....long story that started way back on Saturday; not gonna bother explaining coz it's just too long. I can't imagine how the hell we're gonna live through Thursday's and Friday's double periods.

Am going out with Pam to get her new bag after school....that's the only thing that I'm looking forward to right now.

And speaking of Pam.....I saw last night (more like early this morning, actually) that Pam has a list of her cute little boys on her blog.

So...here's mine:

Gerri's list of cute boys:

1. My special someone
Ha. Did you actually think that you were going to get a name??

2. Wai Lun!
Yes, I agree, he does look very adorable and small when he tucks out his shirt and wears his glasses and doesn't spike his hair up! Haha.

3. Matthew
No, not Matthew Yeo, I mean the other Matthew; the one in the trombone section...Ah heck; I forgot his surname. Anyway, for him, it's the same thing as Wai Lun...actually, he'd look more like a little boy if he wasn't so tall! Haha....
Oh, I remember! Matthew Ong! Yeah, that's it.....

4. Edison
Another adorable little boy. Actually, that sounds wrong coz he's a year older than me and taller! But really, he looks like such an adorable little thing.... :P That and the fact that about 9 girls in school have told him that he looks like Clay Aiken. Haha. I do agree, though. :D

And that's it, really. Yes, I'm a strange person. I might add more to the list later on.....

Hey, I've just mentioned someone from my class (Edison)! My effort to mention people outside of band is working!

Sometimes I wonder what it feels like for him, being the only guy in a class of girls.... He runs a lot of errands and stuff and does a lot of things for the class, all the stuff that most of the girls won't do.

And sometimes I just feel so bad for being female.

He's another really nice person; a bit like Wai Lun, I think, in the sense that they both take cracks about them being gay quite lightly; I guess you could say that they're both really good sports.

Err....no, they're not gay, by the way.

(Hey, that rhymed.)

Although in Edison's case....he does have some facial features that make him look more pretty than handsome, but I guess you could just say that he's good looking!

Ah well. My train of thought has derailed.

So, anyway, here's to all my cute little boys, and to all the nice people out there in the world. :D
I can't stay back on Monday now.....

All my plans ruined coz of that stupid intensive Chinese class from 7-9 pm...... Damn, I hate Chinese.

And I was starting to look forward to night study too. Although I do feel bad about dragging John all the way back to school to unofficially give me Econs tuition. :P

Man, night study makes me feel so good about myself for once!! I feel so...hardworking and useful. Like I'm actually doing something worthwhile with my life. :P

And John won't give me the address of his blog. He claims that it's dead (ie: it hasn't been updated in a long time......), hence he won't give me the address. Oh well.

I just looked back at all my previous entries (yes, there aren't that many, I know) and I realised that I've only ever mentioned people from band in this blog; I've never mentioned anyone in my class!

Hm....is calling Julian and Yao Guang nuts considered "badmouthing"? If it is, then I'm sorry that I called you guys insane.... I don't know if they read this, but heck. :P And I'm sorry that I said that Wei Jian has a disturbing way of staring at people! I don't know if he reads this either, but really, it's true...

All right, I'll shut my little foul mouth up now.

Oh yes, I've managed to find all the songs on the soundtrack for Cirque du Soleil's Alegria......Only got three more to download and I'll be able to burn them all onto a CD!!

I just love those songs.....and I loved that particular production of Cirque too!!

Love the Russian Bars performance although I still find it very painful whenever I see Ivan on the tape! Imagine breaking your lower leg in three different places after falling from a height of about 3+ metres...

The lower leg isn't even long enough for anyone to break it in that many places!!

Ah well. Everyone loves Ivan anyway. He's such a source of inspiration to all the Russian Bars performers. His mere presence would remind anyone of what happens if you fall off the Bars during a performance...............

I've just realised that I've mentioned someone outside of band now!!
